I usually veiw the glass as half full rather that half empty. It might be that way because that just the way everybody else refered to it and it sounds like improper grammer to me when somebody says "half emtpy."
Half full should be the way it is said because when its said the other way all the time it become mildly annoying to me just for no reason and so then people wont think you're a pessimist and youll seem more optimistic.
I also call it half full for more of an actual reason than just because. When ever you're filling somthing up like a gas tank or glass of water you're adding to the volume which is moving it closer to being full, so it should be refered to as that because full it the desired amount, and not empty.
And even when the gas tank is running low because youre burning it all up and its moving closer to empty it should still be said as half-full because the gas tank is supposed to be full and not empty or else the car wouldnt run.
And I also think that I'm gonna stop typing on this because it seems a bit stupid and difficult to write a blog about a glass being half full or empty.

Desert Island
If I were stuck on a desert island the first thing i would think of bringing would have to be duck tape because of its many capabilities and because it can fix about anything, including problems you would encounter on a deserted island. For example, there might be a tear in your tent and a bunch of rain and small creatures keep getting in, you can duct tape it, or you might be walking along and out of nowhere a ninja jumps out and slashes you across your stomach, well you could duct tape it so all your organs don't start flowing out. Its the most amazing thing created since tacos. As for the other stuff, I would bring some good fishing equipment due to the fact that islands are surrounded by oceans full of fish, I would also bring a cast iron pan to cook the fish or other stuff in so it'll make cooking much more easy and clean, it could also be used to smash little creatures that get to close to you if they pose a threat like scorpians and rabies infected mammals. My fourth item would be a large durable tent that could withstand harsh winds and rain and just overall wear from the time it would be in use. Its also always good to have a strong metal blade or tool, unless you are already satisfied with an iron frying pan, so I'd take a hatchet along with me so I could use the blade end of it to cut wood, sharpen wooden spears, and take care of those recurring ninjas that seem to come out of nowhere. The blunt side of the hatchet would also double as a hammer to drive the tent stakes into the ground or to crack open walnuts if any are around. After being on the island for a year I probably wouldn't need any of the supplies being that I would have probably died in the first month of boredom. But if I were to survive all the items would be useful except for the frying pan and fishing gear if I were to change over to a vegetarian then i could just eat all my food fresh without cooking/catching it. Other than that the tent can still be used to sleep in, the hatchet could be used as a tool for cutting or making stuff, the fishing gear would be used to fish of course, and the duck tape would be used to do anything that the other items can't do, I might also myself a nice suit out of it for when I return to civilization.

Joe's happy place
Its a small town of about 150 called Longville, Minnesota where my aunt and uncle have a small summer trailer on the lake. There is always the same people working in the same old places but the town gets plenty of new people every day that come for a relaxing day of fishing in their boat on the large glimmering and pike filled waters of the lake or even to go to the well known turtle races held every wednesday, and some people just pass through and hang around a little more to have a drink and check out the the sight and the other town dwellers. Longville to me is the best place i know of because its far away from the mass of the population around Minneapolis but yet there is never a boring day due to the action going on in town despite its small size and number of residents. Sometimes I spend the whole day out on the lake fishing, swimming, water skiing, and exchanging all kinds of verbal bs with my uncle when my cousin decides not to come with, ocassionally we even pack lunches to bring with when we're out catching fish so we don't have to go back to the trailer and possibly miss out on a large northern being caught. Other days will be spent walking around the town a little visiting the locals and their shops or meeting them and a lot of newer tourists at the turtle races and other shinanagans going on. As the day fades into night my family and I head back to the trailer for a usually grilled and always delicious dinner, afterwards we sit out in front around a fire with either neighboors or even more relatives while chatting and relaxing. It's my favorite parts about going up there in the summer because I enjoy watching my uncle annoy everyone as he drinks more and more and he starts to think he is as young as the rest of the nearby children, and after watching all the old and senile people I like looking at the night sky loaded with thousands of distant stars and watch the light blue northern lights wander across the open sky

What makes me mad?
What makes me mad are how retarded these "high tech devices" called computers can be sometimes. For example, i didn't know what to write for this blog until i tried typing in the title and I published it three times just from trying make a capital w. Also I just found out that this blog doesn't allow you to indent sentences with the tab button and just moves the cursor down to the Labels input area. In addition it's just so wonderful that my computer has the Windows Vista OS on it, and if you're familiar with this mistake called Vista you could probably understand the sarcasm there, it has all kinds of cool stuff and visual effects but when you spend as much time on it as i do, all the good things about it begin to disappear from how distracting and irritating the flaws are. The most frustrating of the flaws in my opinion is how it is continuously trying to impress me by doing everything I don't want it to all by its self, and when it comes to the simple stuff i wont do anything without my permission, every link i click on it asks me if I really wanted to go to the website or if my mouse just mysteriously wandered over there and clicked it itself. My computer also enjoys interrogating me every time i close a window or try downloading stuff off the internet. Another thing where it is always showing off by automatically "correcting mistakes" is in Microsoft Word when I spend a half hour fighting with my computer to get it to the format I want because it insists that he knows what i'm trying to do, and once it gives up and allows me to use the tab and allign buttons as I wish i have to try for another ten minutes trying to force my computer to accept the fact that i write my spanish essays in spanish even though it tends to set itself back to English at least once before i finish. The only reason why i could write this much stuff is mainly because it would be too hard to explain how stupid vista and newer computers are in any shorter of a blog. After I'm finished with this blog i'll probably go on my computer and surf the internet while quietly swearing and threatning the life of my computer in Spanish so my grandma wont understand what i'm saying.

credit make up class
I have to take this boring English credit make-up class after school now because at my recent school Lakeville South I never did any of the major essays, plays, or any likewise junk and failed by like 2%. In addition to that I'll probably be taking this class a few more times because since failing the English class I have become even more lazy and taken up the popular sport of sleeping during my English and history class and have somewhere around a 10% F in each of them and only have less than two weeks to do any possible improving.
